The Pavillo Family Ground 4 is a roomy, simple-to-pitch family tent for up to 4 people. The vis-a-vis layout places two sleeping pods on opposite sides of a shared central porch.
Easy to carry and pitch
The tent weighs 8.9 kg in its carry bag, so it travels easily by car. Pitching with the supplied poles and pegs takes around 25 minutes. With 185 cm of internal height you can stand upright inside. Sleeping pods measure 150 x 220 x 170 cm and 145 x 220 x 170 cm.
Ventilation and insect protection
A large entrance and a wide window provide steady airflow, which limits condensation and helps keep the inside fresh. Mesh inserts at the door and window keep insects out.
Waterproofing
The flysheet is made from coated polyester with a 2,000 mm hydrostatic head, in line with typical touring tents. For wet British conditions over longer trips you may prefer a model rated to 3,000 mm.
